GAF Timberline HDZ Roof Replacement, Seamless Gutters, Gutter RX Gutter Covers in Stevens Point, WI

Removed and replaced asphalt shingles & components on the house and attached garage with GAF Timberline HDZ Lifetime shingles in the color Pewter Gray. The crew completed the tear-off using the "Catch-All" landscape protection nets which protects the lawn, landscaping & siding. All GAF roof installations by Oakwood Exteriors feature a 50 year non-prorated manufacturer warranty and a 20-year Workmanship Warranty.

Underlayment used is Sharkskin Ultra SA Ice & Water Shield (Premium Ice Dam Protection) and GAF Tiger Paw fastened with cap nails. Sharkskin synthetic ice and water shield underlayment provides exceptional winter weather protection. The premium self-adhering barrier extends 4” up eaves and is also installed in valleys, and around all roof penetrations. GAF Tiger Paw is a Synthetic underlayment which is a critical layer of protection between the shingles and roof deck to resist wind-driven rain.

Installed new galvanized steel drip edge in the color Clay and ultimate pipe flashing that will not dry out or crack. GAF Cobra Snow Country Ridge Vent was utilized for attic ventilation.

Removed existing gutters and down spouts & hauled away. Installed 5" "K Style" seamless gutters and oversized down spouts with 3' extensions & zip hinges. Installed Gutter RX aluminum gutter covers. Gutter RX is an all aluminum system attached to the front & back of the gutter which strengthens the entire gutter system making it strong enough to handle snow and ice buildup and also completely encloses the gutter to prevent birds from building nests. The ridges make Gutter RX self-cleaning by promoting air flow. The Gutter RX covers have a 20-year no clog guarantee.
