We removed and replaced the original asphalt shingle roof on the house and attached garage with Decra Shake XD stone-coated steel shingles in Antique Chestnut. Warrantied to last a lifetime, DECRA Shake XD stands up to hail, rain, fire, storm debris, and even hurricane-force winds. Decra Shake XD has the rustic beauty and architectural detail of a thick, rustic, hand-split wood shake.
Decra Ridge vents were installed for sufficient ventilation, and a 3” Ultimate pipe flashing was installed. The Ultimate pipe flashing features extra-large flashing to ensure maximum protection against leaks.
We removed and replaced OSB plywood on the rotten front sidewalls and installed kick-out flashings to prevent future damage.
The crew utilized the Equipter Buggy and the Catch-All landscape protection system to protect the lawn, landscaping and siding from roofing debris and property damage. The ground nets are load-bearing and rip-resistant, with strong handles that make it easy to move leftover nails to the dump trailer. On top of that, the reinforced ground nets are breathable to keep grass from burning from the hot sun.
Cleaned the worksite, including blow-off of the roof surface, magnet sweep yard, landscaping, driveway, & sidewalk.
